Lunacy

The waxing moon coats my skin 

with darkened heat.

Saturated with madness

My eyes rain pearls, visions swirl

I cannot speak.

Soon I'm dancing

naked,

I bare my sins,

Aching

for

release.

Transforming light

into love spells,

I vibrate with energy.

Intoxicating,

this sorrow,

like my gods have

abandoned me.

I beckon the darkness

it needs to feed,

my fears are vanishing.

Only a vessel

a humbled beast,

my burdens set me free.

I spill myself beneath

moonlight,

my blood becoming

ink.

Finally

the old ones sing

through me

and I believe:

destiny.

bleed through me;

Odes to darkness

And lunacy.
